Data we process
Artiphoria processes account details, preferences, prompts, uploaded and generated images, optional microphone recordings, usage records, and billing status needed to provide and secure the service. Payment card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored by Artiphoria.
Voice dictation and microphone data
Voice dictation is optional and starts only when you activate the microphone control and grant browser permission. You can type a prompt instead and can revoke microphone permission in your browser at any time.
When you use voice dictation, the recorded audio and up to 1,000 characters already present in the prompt editor are sent to Artiphoria's server and then to Replicate. Replicate runs the OpenAI Whisper model; the existing prompt is supplied as context to improve transcription. Do not include confidential or sensitive information you do not want processed this way.
Artiphoria does not add the microphone recording to your image library or database. It requests deletion of the temporary Replicate audio file after transcription succeeds or fails. That cleanup is best-effort: if immediate deletion fails, Replicate states that separately uploaded files expire after 24 hours and that API prediction inputs, outputs, and logs are removed after one hour by default. Replicate's policies and retention practices govern its processing and may change.
The returned transcript is sent with no-store response headers and inserted into the editable prompt. If you then generate, save, or publish with that prompt, the transcript is processed and retained in the same way as other prompt text.
How data is used
Data is used to authenticate users, run requested AI tools, store libraries, administer credits and subscriptions, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. Private images remain private unless you choose to publish them.
Service providers
Supabase, Replicate, Stripe, and Vercel process limited data for hosting, authentication, inference, storage, and billing. For voice dictation, Replicate receives the temporary microphone audio and optional prompt context described above to run OpenAI Whisper. Their handling is also governed by their own policies.
